The staff's friendliness truly stands out and creates a welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. The spacious room was well-appointed, contributing to a comfortable experience. Breakfast offered a wide variety, showcasing fresh meats, which was delightful. the first room presented was unclean and poorly maintained, with dusty surfaces and stained linens that marred the overall impression initially. After requesting a room change, the second accommodation was satisfactory and clean, significantly improving our experience.

The food in the restaurant was gorgeous and paired perfectly with breathtaking loch views. We also caught a lovely evening tea in the lounge, which was a hit with the kids—who doesn't love board games in a cozy corner? 🌅
But those creaky stairs! Climbing my bags up to the second floor was a workout—thank goodness I got a hand! And can we talk about the TV? It felt a bit old school with channels barely working, especially on drizzly days.

beautiful views and close to glencoe attractions made it memorable
we had an amazing stay with stunning views down the loch that made our morning coffee truly special. The proximity to nearby attractions like the Glencoe Folk Museum was perfect for our weekend city strolls. as a solo traveler, I appreciated the cosiness of my guest single room, though it could use a little modernization in some areas but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Recommend for a flash stay
Comfortable room, friendly staff, the hotel offers a stunning sea view from upgraded accommodations that enhanced our overall experience, while the bar/lounge area provided a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring.
The hotel needs some modernization, particularly in the room amenities and overall decor.

Great for families who appreciate old charm
The family and I loved the stunning views over the loch and the dining experience was truly delightful with the haggis starter blowing us away with its flavor and presentation I felt like we were experiencing a piece of Scotland on every plate.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but for what we received it was still reasonable.
